Hawzah News Agency- Dr. Fatemeh Bostan, a founding member of the Justice Party of Turkey, in the fifth International Webinar ‘The Islamic Republic of Iran; Islamic Front for Dignity in Confrontation with the Zionist Regime’, organized by Global Assembly of Qademoun, highlighted the importance of Iran's role in regional power balance and its consistent support for Palestinian resistance.
Referring to Iran's continuous stance in supporting Palestine, Dr. Bostan said,” The Islamic Republic of Iran, since the victory the Revolution, has maintained a consistent principled, and religious-based position against Zionist occupation.”
Emphasizing the performance of international institutions she added,” Since the establishment of the Zionist regime, this regime, in disregard of international law and UN chapters, has created multiple crises in the world. The United Nations, which is to be the guarantor of global peace, has been unable to effectively act upon Israel's actions, and many of its legal and judicial decisions have been ignored.”
The founding member of the Justice Party of Turkey, went on to speak on the sanctions and military pressures against Iran and emphasized,” The recent experiences have shown Iran, despite economic sanctions and foreign pressure, enjoys strong internal cohesion and defensive capabilities. Any pressure or military operations will not only fail to change system or stop Iran's legal programs, rather will shift regional power balance in favor resistance.”
She considered Iran's role in providing practical support to the Palestinian resistance significant and stated, "This support should be transformed into a factor for the unity of the Islamic ummah and prevent the creation of religious and political divisions among Muslim countries. Defending the rights of Palestinian people is a fundamental and non-negotiable right, and it should be given global priority."
Dr. Bostan further emphasized the need for strengthening regional relations and said, "Historical experience shows only through dialogue, solidarity, cooperation among Muslim countries can sustainable and security in the region be achieved. Iran, with its principled stances, has provided a practical solution for other Islamic countries.”
This webinar, attended by scholars and university professors, and political representatives from Islamic countries, focused on key topics as Iran's role in confronting Zionist regime, supporting Palestinian resistance, preserving stability, and strengthening the unity of Islamic ummah.
